The final snap has been sewn in place, bustle adjusted just right, jacket pulled on, and pigtails styled to perfection… with just enough time to grab her favorite snack – Fugashi – she races out the door. Off to meet up with her friends at Cosplay Bridge, the place where Japanese cosplay and lolita fasion is on display to see and be seen.
Harajuku Station is definitely the place to be!

The Jacket: With a bit of early 19th century military inspiration, this beautifully crafted fully lined faux leather jacket certainly catches the eye! Tiny details include a stand up collar with metal accented collar band and the front is folded back to have a buttoned look with the small metal studs. It is beautifully topstiched to empasize all the intricate seams and details. Jacket is lined in solid black and slips on and off easily.

Top: The darling bib front top with the tiniest tucks and buttons is accented with a peter pan style collar and trimmed with a delicate floral pattern lace. The black and white striped knit adds the perfect amount of flair and personality, is soft and comfortable, and looks great! The little puff sleeves with banded edges add a youthful feeling to the otherwise elegant pieces. The top closes in the back with super thin Velcro.

The Skirt: Black taffeta and lace – staples to any harajuku inspired look! Here we have a high/low hemline with lace peeking out from the edge. The front of the skirt is shaped with inverted pleats, the back has gentle gathers and closes with a larger size waistband hook and eye. The skirt is topped with a stylish bustle – Three layers of ruffles each edged with lace hems. It is positioned over the center back opening of the skirt and attaches with snaps at the sides of the waist. This design allows for a continuous ruffle across the back and gives the perfect amount of early 19th century attitude!
